The Way Back Home is a participatory workshop led by Spanish artist Bea Lema and Iranian poet and artist Haleh Chinikar. Together with the participants, they explore the many meanings of 'home'. Through breathing exercises, memories, poetic expression, movement, and embroidery, they invite you to reflect on personal and collective journeys of belonging. Along the way, you will weave stories and sensations into a tangible, shared map that portrays the idea of home in both an intimate and collective way. The working language of this Europalia workshop is English. Translation into Dutch, French, or Spanish is available. You don’t need to bring anything, dinner will also be provided for all participants.
