The 6th edition of the Nourrir Bruxelles\/Brusselse kost festival will take place from April 15 to 26.<\/p>\n
As in previous years, dozens of partners are organizing activities across the Brussels Region focused on food transition and social justice.<\/p>\n
On the program: performances, film screenings and discussions, workshops, conferences, solidarity meals, farm visits, and more.
\nThese are all opportunities to collectively reflect on food sovereignty and understand environmental struggles from feminist, decolonial, and grassroots perspectives, as well as in opposition to all forms of systemic oppression.<\/p>\n

This year, the final weekend of the Nourrir Bruxelles Festival will be joined by the 48-Hour Urban Agriculture Festival!<\/p>\n
The 48h Festival, originally from France, aims to highlight urban agriculture in Europe. The Brussels edition is coordinated by the GASAP Network and the Urban Agriculture Federation.<\/p>\n
So, on April 25 and 26, many actors in the ecological and food transition (collectives, buying groups, farms, associations, community garden projects, etc.) will offer a multitude of free and participatory activities centered on agriculture, sustainable food, biodiversity, and solidarity!
\nSince 2021, the festival has brought the need for sustainable food\u2014accessible to all and produced with respect for the environment and agricultural workers\u2014back to the forefront.<\/p>\n
Nourrir Bruxelles\/Brusselse kost aims to shine a spotlight on and strengthen initiatives promoting agroecological and solidarity-based food systems in the Brussels Region. The Festival brings together dozens of partners from the nonprofit, cultural, academic, political, and civic sectors who are working in Brussels to preserve the planet and our social rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
