ROOTED IN IMPROVISATION AND STRONG RHYTHMIC INTERPLAY, THE BAND DRAWS FROM ELECTRIC JAZZ, RAW GROOVE, PUNK ENERGY, AND EXPERIMENTAL SOUND. EACH MEMBER CONTRIBUTES A DISTINCT CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE: AFRO-CARIBBEAN PULSE AND PHRASING FROM PANAMA, COMPLEX BALKAN METERS AND DRIVE FROM SERBIA, AND MEDITERRANEAN LYRICISM FROM GREECE. RATHER THAN MERGING THESE ELEMENTS INTO A FIXED FORMULA, THE QUARTET TREATS THEM AS LIVING MATERIAL TO RESHAPE AND REIMAGINE IN PERFORMANCE. THE PROJECT BEGAN IN 2023 AS A TRIO AND EXPANDED IN 2024 WITH THE ADDITION OF TRUMPETER AQUILES NAVARRO, WHOSE FOCUSED, URGENT SOUND SHARPENED THE GROUP\u2019S DIRECTION. ALL FOUR MUSICIANS ARE ACTIVE ACROSS JAZZ, FREE IMPROVISATION, AFROBEAT, AND EXPERIMENTAL SCENES, BRINGING BREADTH AND DEPTH TO THE ENSEMBLE\u2019S MUSIC. ELECTRONICS ARE INTEGRATED AS PART OF THE LIVE TEXTURE, SHAPING DYNAMICS IN REAL TIME.
