\nA master of material manipulation, Claudio Stellato has already delighted us by juggling cubic metres of wood in La Cosa or playing the role of a mad DIY enthusiast in Work. With People, he continues his exploration of unstable worlds built from objects. Very quickly, the stage fills with a jumble of found objects liberally doused in black paint, manipulated by characters in the throes of an emotional storm, caught up in screams, laughter and tears. Gradually, silhouettes and objects merge into a sort of large living sculpture that blends an improvised party with a frenetic ritual.
