Pedro Riofrio<\/span><\/b>, n\u00e9 en 1996 \u00e0 Quito, en \u00c9quateur, vit actuellement entre l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine. Artiste visuel, musicien et chercheur, il explore les intersections entre biomat\u00e9riaux, innovation technologique et physicalit\u00e9 des r\u00e9sonances sonores. Sa pratique, profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9e par une double perspective culturelle, s\u2019enracine dans des th\u00e9matiques d\u2019interconnexion, de transformation et de cycles vitaux.<\/span><\/p>\n

Son travail interroge les origines de la mati\u00e8re, le passage du temps et les m\u00e9tamorphoses continues des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes naturels. Il met en avant l\u2019essence partag\u00e9e de tous les \u00eatres : nous sommes constitu\u00e9s de la m\u00eame mati\u00e8re, vibrant et interagissant dans un r\u00e9seau de relations d\u00e9pourvu de hi\u00e9rarchies. Cette vision remet en cause les id\u00e9es conventionnelles de s\u00e9paration pour r\u00e9v\u00e9ler l\u2019interd\u00e9pendance profonde de toutes choses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il d\u00e9veloppe une approche sensible et organique de la cr\u00e9ation, inspir\u00e9e par les cycles de la vie et les mondes fongiques. Membre du collectif M\u00e4ytu<\/b> et du groupe musical ROSA MARGA<\/b>, il con\u00e7oit des espaces o\u00f9 s\u2019entrelacent sons, mati\u00e8res et imaginaires, afin d\u2019ouvrir la voie \u00e0 des exp\u00e9riences transformatrices et profondes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 d\u2019un Master en Sculpture en 2023 \u00e0 l\u2019ARBA (Bruxelles), il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses expositions en Belgique, en France, en \u00c9quateur, au Mexique et aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Son travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans des galeries et centres culturels tels que : Soil Gallery<\/b> (Seattle, 2025), Galer\u00eda Nasal<\/b> (Mexico City, juin 2025), ENSAV Bourges<\/b> (France, 2025), Festival Ars Musica<\/b> (Bruxelles, 2024), Botanique<\/b> (Bruxelles, 2024), Punto Rojo<\/b> (Quito, \u00c9quateur), Gery Art Gallery<\/b> (Namur), Galerie Odradek XL<\/b> (2023), Eleven Steens<\/b> (Bruxelles, 2023) et la Fondation Fiminco<\/b> (Paris, 2023).<\/span><\/p>\n
