De hoofdzetel van het Instituto Cervantes bevindt zich op twee plaatsen in Spanje: in Madrid en Alcal\u00e1 de Henares. Deze laatste was de geboortestad van de schrijver Miguel de Cervantes. De Brusselse vestiging is een van de meest opvallende.
