Vanuit die vraag ontstond de tentoonstelling <em>Alluvions<\/em>, met werk van Esther Babulik, Aurore Scotet, Jeanne Pruvot Simonneaux en L\u00e9a Brami. <em>\u00ab Rouw betekent verlies, maar het is ook een laag die zich afzet en het landschap blijvend verandert \u00bb,<\/em> vertellen de kunstenaars. Alluvium is niet de overstroming zelf, maar wat die achterlaat: een sediment, soms vruchtbaar, soms zwaar, dat zich afzet en het landschap geleidelijk verandert. Elke kunstenaar onderzoekt dit idee vanuit haar eigen praktijk, met schilderkunst, beeldhouwkunst, textiel en installaties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Aurore onderzoekt in haar schilderijen en video\u2019s materialen die voortdurend in beweging zijn. Esther werkt aan sculpturen op het raakvlak van lichaam, materialen en levensvormen. L\u00e9a cre\u00ebert een ruimte met objecten, fragmenten en stoffen die verhalen over strijd en politiek-emotionele verwantschappen met zich meedragen. Jeanne speelt met textiel en tekens om vormen van aanwezigheid en verdwijning op te roepen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">De ervaring kan tijdens verschillende activiteiten bij de tentoonstelling nog verder worden uitgediept. Op 7 november om 14 uur nodigt L\u00e9a Brami het publiek uit voor haar vertelwandeling <em>Habiter les vestiges.<\/em> Je ontdekt er de verhalen achter strijdobjecten uit de 19e en 20e eeuw. Van 5 tot 29 november brengt de tentoonstelling in de Kapel van Boondaal een collectief van kunstenaars uit de ateliers van Usquare samen. Ze onderzoeken wat er met het beeld gebeurt in het digitale tijdperk.
