Jim Monneau's compositions encourage interaction and the unexpected. They provide a clear framework for his musicians to express themselves freely. When you attend one of their concerts or listen to their music, it's like being invited to a round table discussion with five musicians communicating through their instruments. It's a musical dialogue in which five voices intermingle, listen attentively to each other, wait for their moment, then respond. Each performance becomes a unique experience, an opportunity to observe these musicians engaged in a compelling musical conversation. .
