Originally from Slovakia, Barbara has spent the last decade living and creating across the world, from Indonesia and India to Sweden, Germany, and now Belgium. A former humanitarian professional, her practice carries the values that guided her work in the field: compassion, curiosity, and a deep belief in the beauty of human connection. Through vibrant watercolour and digital illustration, she captures the landscapes, cultures and people encountered along the way, creating work that is joyful, mindful, and full of warmth. The exhibition brings together a collection of paintings and illustrations inspired by a year of travel, exploring the relationship between place and personal transformation. The works are displayed on the mezzanine of Craft Studios, Rue du Viaduc 66, 1050 Ixelles, and are available for purchase on site, original prints and posters can be acquired directly at the studio throughout the duration of the exhibition. Vernissage : August 27, from 6:00 PM A welcome drink will be served upon arrival. The artist will be present on the opening evening, offering visitors the opportunity to meet Barbara and discover the stories behind her work. The exhibition runs throughout September at Craft Studios. Free admission. Open to all during opening hours.
