Altera Vita (2024, BBE Music) is the first studio album by the world-renowned and multi-award-winning duo Tony Kofi (saxophone) and Alina Bzhezhinska, harpist of Shabaka’s band. On this album, saxophone and harp blend in perfect harmony, with Tony and Alina also handling most of the percussion. Tony Kofi is recognized as one of the UK’s leading jazz saxophonists and regularly performs with the legendary group Cymande.
