SoUper Marché – 1st Edition Welcome to the SoUper Marché! Every second Wednesday of the month, the old Manège is transformed into a lively, engaged, and flavorful place centered around sustainable food and the people who shape it. For this first edition, we have prepared an exceptional program for you: Le Pédalo Coopérative offers a super-fresh assortment from Ferme Laute: vegetables, fruits, and local, seasonal products. SousBois, mushroom producer and site resident, sells his fresh produce, along with a big surprise. Le Panier du organizes a large distribution of unsold food collected from the neighborhood. A concrete step towards solidarity-based food. Waijn Kamaraden, our local micro-winemaker, lets you taste his first bottles of wine produced on-site. Kefir, kombucha, and fermented drinks: come and taste these natural elixirs. UR Square beer, in partnership with Bières de Quartier, will be served at the bar by our team – a refreshing beer to enjoy. New menu from Garnish, the food truck of our university canteen, with a pizza party. La Ferme Nospilis offers plants and young plants to beautify your balconies and kitchens. Chant des Cailles cheeses, for lovers of real flavors. Homemade pastries and a few sweet surprises. Le Meet U, a neighborhood collective, brings out the plancha for the occasion – street food atmosphere guaranteed. Live music: the band Las Queridas Do Bruxelas will get you moving with a mix of Samba, Cumbia, and Capoeira. Free screening of the film Food Coop, an immersion into New York's first food cooperative.
