By the time you read these lines, you will no doubt already know the name of the Audience Prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, dedicated to the cello this year. At the Festival Musiq3, however, it is the audience who decides! In their day, you might have heard artists such as Leonid Kogan, Vadim Repin or Sergey Khatchatryan – but the Festival did not yet exist. More recently, your choices have included Lim Ji Young, Lorenzo Gatto, Joshua Brown, Valère Burnon and our deeply missed Jodie Devos… so once again, we place our trust in you!
