A new star on the international piano scene, Saehyun Kim has captivated audiences since his breakthrough at the renowned Long-Thibaud Competition. A laureate of numerous international competitions, Saehyun Kim drew the attention of the global music world shortly before his eighteenth birthday, winning in 2025 the Grand Prix at the Concours International Long-Thibaud, as well as the Audience Prize, the Press Jury Prize, and the Conservatoires of the City of Paris Prize. We invite you to discover him during an evening that not only celebrates music, but also the enduring friendship between Belgium and South Korea. The Duo Post-Scriptum made a strong impression at the Concours Génération Classique and specialises in music from around 1900. In the first part of this recital, they perform the first movement of a sonata by the Belgian composer Henriette Van den Boorn-Coclet, a fascinating work they discovered in Eugène Ysaÿe’s music library.
