In the post-apocalyptic Australian wasteland, a cynical drifter agrees to help a small, gasoline rich, community escape a band of bandits. A one-off screening as part of Financité’s Ciné-bingo (in French).Whilst watching a mainstream film, you’re invited to spot the economic and financial issues hidden within the plot. A character getting into debt, a sudden windfall, or workers organising themselves. When the scene appears, you mark it off. And when the card is full… Bingo! Playing the game gives you the chance to watch and rewatch these films through a new lens.
