Master Street Photography Skills in a Dynamic Course

Category : Workshops and courses
Next date : 01/04/2027 > 24/06/2027
Place : GC Elzenhof
Avenue de la Couronne, 12
1050 Ixelles

Following the kick-off at GC Elzenhof, there will be evening sessions every two weeks, supplemented by plenty of weekend walks through the city in small groups. In the meantime, you’ll be working on a personal series that will culminate in a real exhibition: your photographs on the walls of GC Elzenhof, with a private viewing on Thursday 24 June 2027. Practical information: Language: English / French / Dutch, depending on the group Included: an art print of your best photograph, framed in an Elzenhof aluminium frame – you may keep the print after the exhibition. Each session combines practical photography exercises with the discussion of photographs, enabling you not only to learn how to take stronger photographs, but also why certain photographs work well. During the course, you will learn how to: Recognise and anticipate decisive moments. Observe light, composition and gestures in everyday situations. Create stronger visual stories rather than isolated snapshots. Work confidently in busy public spaces. Understand the ethics of street photography. Master camera settings for varying lighting conditions. Use focal lengths and perspective creatively. Edit and select your best photos. Develop your own photographic style.
