Altera Vita (2024, BBE Music) is a tribute to Pharaoh Sanders and the first studio album by the multi-award-winning duo Tony Kofi and Alina Bzhezhinska. On this album, saxophone and harp blend in perfect harmony, with both musicians also handling most of the percussion. Tony Kofi is recognized as one of UK’s leading jazz saxophonists and regularly performs with the legendary group Cymande. Alina Bzhezhinska plays in Shabaka's band and is the first harpist to win a Parliamentary Jazz Award (2024). As a duo, they take their refreshing approach to the next level.
