In 1893 Victor Horta builds the Tassel Hotel. Only a few blocks away, one of his colleagues, Paul Hankar, built his own house. These two masterpieces, just a hundred meters apart, revolutionised architecture forever. See the origins of Art Nouveau in the streets of Ixelles and Saint Gilles. During this accessible journey, we will also encounter many other achievements of the greatest architects of the time: Ernest Blérot, Gustave Strauven, the Delune brothers, Paul Hamesse, … An accessible, yet awe-inspiring architectural digest in an amiable atmosphere!
