We are pleased to invite you to an exhibition exploring the fascinating scientific and technological world of Miguel de Cervantes' Spain, in collaboration with the CSIC delegation in Belgium. This exhibition is not just a literary journey; it analyzes how the discoveries of key figures in science directly influenced Cervantes' work. Through texts and images, the exhibition explores four fundamental areas present in Don Quixote: natural history, astronomy, technology, and ecology. Don Quixote himself, avoiding tacit approval, defined chivalry as follows: "It is a science [...] that encompasses all or most of the sciences in the world." Louise 140 Louizalaan During the opening, the authors of the book "Cervantes' Cookbook: Between Porridge and Giants," Marián Cruz and Patricia Morales, will discuss gastronomy in the Quixote, accompanied by a tasting of some of the recipes from the book: duelos y quebrantos, pisto, cheeses and wines from La Mancha, thanks to the Delegation of Castilla La Mancha to the EU.
