Catherine Dagnelie indulges in graphic, pictorial and acrylic expression on paper, inspired by her love of wild and spontaneous nature. Then, on this base, comes the thread; the sensation that thread gives, as if in a decompartmentalised space letting in other influences. Embroidering, weaving, tying, knotting, intertwining, getting lost in little paths that are more or less practicable. Adapting to the spirit of the place, to the freedom of the shapes created where the threads meet, like a harmonious blend. Giving life... weaving, living, repairing, mending...
