The Italian Eos Quartet is perhaps one of the most promising string quartets in Italy. Founded in 2016 at the Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome, they now present a program featuring two masterpieces for string quartet. Their fresh and profound interpretations have been awarded multiple prizes. During this concert, Franz Schubert's String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, better known as Der Tod und das Mädchen (Death and the Maiden), will be performed alongside Joseph Haydn's String Quartet in G major, Hob.
