Compelling, energetic and infused with a touch of humour. That’s the essence of Belgian pianist Fabian Coomans' programme. He delves into the extended, almost meditative time in Morton Feldman’s Palais de Mari. Contemplative pieces (Feldman, Berio, Armstrong) are interwoven with works full of energy (Jodlowski) and humorous elements as in Partita Ritardata where composer Paul Pankert joins on stage to play the electronics.
