Two years ago, De Nooit Moede called it quits, and their journey came to an end... They celebrated and mourned this with their first and immediately last concert at Pilar. Undoubtedly a “You just had to be there” moment. De Nooit Moede consisted of Jente Waerzeggers, Eva Kleeven, Victor De Roo, Ferre Marnef, Arthur Roels, Felix Poffé, and Moene Peeters. During a time of uncertainty, in the COVID era, they brought hope with infamous live streams and their self-titled EP, which took the scene by storm. But just as their star quickly rose, it just as quickly disappeared beyond the horizon. Two years later, Kontakt Group is releasing one final chapter of this beautiful band soap opera in the form of a 4-track EP titled RIP. But perhaps we all have room for a little more “life after death” in our lives? To celebrate the life and legacy of De Nooit Moede, Kontakt Group and Pilar invite you to a memorial service as unique as the band itself. Eight legendary acts will pay tribute by covering their favorite tracks from the DNM repertoire.
