With this carte blanche, the Jazz Station gave the multi-instrumentalist, who is just as well known in Luxembourg as he is in Belgium, two missions : to bring together musicians from these two territories, and to pass on his knowledge. The result was a quartet made up of Stéphane Galland, a leading figure on the Belgian jazz scene, and two emerging artists : Louise van den Heuvel, a renowned bassist and member of Dishwasher_ and the initiator of ‘Sonic Hug', and Daniel Migliosi, a prolific young trumpet player who travels between Luxembourg and European stages. After several periods of reflection, research and work at the Jazz Station, this quartet is coming to the Marni to celebrate the musical friendship between Belgium and Luxembourg, and to offer you a concert experience to match the personalities of each of these high-flying instrumentalists. As part of a focus on Luxembourg and Belgian jazz organised by the Jazz Station, the Marni and the Senghor, with the support of Kultur | lx - Arts Council Luxembourg.
