Mandé Sila brings together four exceptional musicians to revive the rich heritage of the Manding Empire. Habib Koité enchants with his virtuosic guitar playing, blending tradition and modernity. Lamine Cissokho, from a distinguished lineage of griots, makes his kora sing like a living story that spans centuries. Aly Keïta breathes a surprisingly contemporary sound into the balafon, while Mama Koné anchors the ensemble with driving rhythms and subtle electronic touches.
