Be The Rhythm is an interactive family show for children aged 7 to 11. The show encourages connection and artistic expression through dance and music. Stepping, a high-energy African-American form of body percussion, is presented as a rich art form that encourages creativity, confidence and power through hand clapping, foot stomping and raising the voice. Highlighting the strong influence of children's hand games and hip-hop in the history of stepping, we will discover the instinctive rhythm within us all and celebrate the importance of connecting through movement and sound.
