Pianists Nik Bärtsch and Tania Giannouli have been called the "ideal musical partners" in contemporary jazz. They met at the Enjoy Jazz Festival in Germany, where they were both artists-in-residence. To their genre-crossing and dynamic interplay, the adventurous improvisers each add their own sound.
