A performance combining dance and object theatre by JORDI VIDAL Cie, without words, Sat 30 May at 4.00 pm and Sun 31 May at 14.30 pm, gardens. Two people go to a beach where they find a large transparent sail. Intrigued by this material, they begin to explore it. This invites them to embark on a journey in which this material, which is both airy and water-like, becomes at times an ally and at times an enemy. This experience will change them, as well as their view of and approach to this element. In a poetic and visual way, this piece evokes our relationship with plastic and the issue of pollution in our oceans.. This highly visual and graphic work creates a constantly surprising and ever-changing scenography, as movement remains the central element, both in the performers’ movements and in the materials they work with. Whether we’re performing indoors or outdoors in the evening, we use video projections and/or lighting effects on the plastic. This enhances the poetic and dreamlike quality of the piece, creating a truly extraordinary experience. 5+, €5/€7.
