In the new project Elf Traps, spiritual jazz meets glitch, jungle and live electronics. The energetic drumming of Rob Turner (Mammal Hands, formerly GoGo Penguin) and Liviu Gheorghe’s psychedelic synths blend with drum machines, samples and robotic percussion to create soundscapes that move between meditative ambient and explosive energy. Admission to this concert is free for ticketholders for the concert of Tomeka Reid Quartet (19:30) ou Amir ElSaffar New Quartet (21:00).
