In KULT XL the exhibition will illustrate the topics: “Migration: integration and European identity” and “Caring for the most vulnerable”. This second chapter deals with how to build a European identity, combining it with local and national identities, and how to facilitate a fair welcome and integration for immigrants in the countries of the European Union. Artists featured in the European Parliament Art Collection, as well as other invited artivists, reflect on how the reception of migrants must be ruled by the values of solidarity, equality and justice. In this regard, the integration of foreigners and refugees into EU countries is one of the themes and concerns reflected in the works grouped under the heading: “Caring for the most vulnerable”.
