During the Riverjazz festival in March 2025, I will show about 100 Jazz concert drawings at three different places in Brussels (Jazz station,Théâtre Marni and Le Senghor).These drawings (period 2014-24) mostly small sketchbook format A-3-A4 were made on the spot during concerts and festivals.We can see De Beren Gieren, BB King,Avishai Cohen,Joe Lovano,Bram De Looze,Stephane Galland,Philippe Catherine,...etc. I especially love the rhythm and improvisation in Jazz. My drawings are expressive,the quick sketch and I like exaggeration with little material (Bic, pen and ink).
