The Joyeuse Rentrée kicks off the new cultural season in Ixelles! On Saturday 19 September, the Commune’s cultural partners invite you to Fernand Cocq for a free and festive day of music, performances, fanfares, workshops, games, interactive installations and encounters. From 10 am, Biblio XL and Bib Sans Souci invite you to discover Palestinian culture through stories, games and workshops. From 2 pm, discover BRUiTAL, Fujin and its “Open Orchestra”, Muziekpublique, the Ixelles Museum, Amadeo Kollectif and the Brussels Film Orchestra on Fernand Cocq Square. At 3 pm, head to Mercelis for Drache Nationale, a free performance by Cie Anoraks combining theatre and juggling, with registration required. A day to discover the artists, venues and cultural partners shaping Ixelles’ cultural life throughout the 2026-2027 season.
