Camille Pennequin’s world invites us to pause time and let our minds wander. Drawing inspiration from her travels, the artist goes beyond simply depicting the landscape to capture its emotion, light and atmosphere: the enchanting reflections of Venice, the brightness of Menorca and the mystery of Calabria all become fragments of memory. On the canvas, gouache and oil pastels intertwine in a tactile interplay of textures and reliefs, brought to life by free-flowing brushstrokes and vibrant colours. The energy of the moment blends with memory, making each work a poetic bridge between recollection and wonder.
