Place : Atelier Créations Isabelle de Borchgrave

Following the success of their concert last February, these two exceptional performers and close friends—Camille Thomas and Julien Brocal—are reuniting once again in the intimate setting of the studio, ahead of their tour in China. On the program: works by Glass, Piazzolla, and Shostakovich, as well as some of their own compositions. A magical evening, blending classic repertoire with sensitive reinterpretations, just a few days before their departure. We are honored to host this exclusive concert at the Atelier d’Isabelle de Borchgrave, a magical creative space near the Ixelles ponds, just a stone’s throw from Flagey. For one evening, the studio transforms into a music salon: surrounded by the artist’s delicate works, an audience of just a hundred will experience a rare intimacy with the performers. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 8:00 p.m. sharp. Members of Le Jardin Musical are invited starting at 6:30 p.m. for a friendly get-together over drinks and a private chat with the artists before the doors open. Camille Thomas is an internationally renowned Franco-Belgian cellist. Trained in France and Germany under great masters, she distinguished herself early on at prestigious venues and has won several awards, including the Victoires de la Musique and an ECHO Klassik. In 2017, she became the first female cellist to sign with Deutsche Grammophon. Her album *Voice of Hope*, produced in partnership with UNICEF, reflects her artistic and humanitarian commitment. She performs with renowned conductors and orchestras and plays a rare 1730 Stradivarius cello on loan from the Nippon Music Foundation. Julien Brocal, founder of Le Jardin Musical, has been a pianist since childhood, having given his first concert at the prestigious Salle Cortot at the age of 7. He was invited to be artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel by pianist Maria João Pires and now gives recitals internationally. He is the creator of enchanting music festivals in Italy and performs regularly with other artists, including cellist Camille Thomas, with whom he has released recordings of Chopin on Deutsche Grammophon. His next album with Camille Thomas, featuring original compositions, will be released this fall on the same label.
