Hip-hop, post-R&B, jazz & soul Renowned for their meticulous electronic productions at the crossroads of hip-hop and post-R&B, the Brussels-based duo JUICY (Sasha Vovk and Julie Rens) continue to evolve towards a freer, more organic and collaborative style of music. For this unique evening conceived for the Marni, the group deconstructs and reinvents its repertoire in a completely new acoustic light. This creation brings together two complementary approaches :
The intimacy of two pianos, thanks to Dorian Dumont's masterful arrangements, which lay bare the harmonic richness of the compositions.
The power of the brass section, led by their collaborator Thomas Mayade, bringing a festive and warm grandeur.
Combining acoustic delicacy, jazz improvisations and on-stage interaction, JUICY offers an immersive, surprising and deeply vibrant reinterpretation of their musical world.
