From an early age, Lucas and Arthur Jussen have spent their days together at the piano. Their shared passion led them to become one of the world’s most successful piano duos, with an international reputation for their exceptional interplay and infectious musicianship. At Flagey, the brothers showcase their versatility at the piano with chorales by Bach, a contemporary work by Hanna Kulenty, and virtuosic variation cycles by Johannes Brahms and Witold Lutosławski. They conclude with George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, a musical kaleidoscope of America driven by the energy of jazz.
