A cheerful, slightly offbeat troupe of four musicians (three wind instruments and a small mobile drum kit) recounts the history of Walt Disney’s animated films in an explosive, groovy and lively style. Structured around a timeline, from ‘Snow White’ to ‘Frozen’, musical interludes – accompanied by props – highlight some of these most iconic and popular productions. The soundtracks are rearranged and performed. As self-respecting ‘nerds’ (read: ‘young adults with a tendency towards antisocial behaviour and an excessive focus on intellectual pursuits’), they adopt an offbeat demeanour and style of dress that makes them both hilarious and endearing.
