The feature-length documentary film CE ZA AR 2025 presents the finalists of Slovakia’s most prestigious architectural award and offers a unique insight into the most inspiring architectural works of the past year, the architects behind them, and the stories that have shaped these projects. The 80-minute film brings architecture to life by exploring not only the buildings themselves, but also their social, cultural and environmental impact. The screening will mark the closing event of the exhibition Affordable. Beautiful. Possible., which showcases Slovak experiences in creating high-quality built environments and public spaces in line with the values of the New European Bauhaus: sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion. Organized by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Brussels in cooperation with the Slovak Chamber of Architects (SKA), the event will conclude with a discussion featuring representatives of the SKA and Slovak architects working in both Slovakia and Belgium. Together, they will explore current developments in architecture, the role of quality public space, and the future of sustainable urban development. The event offers a unique opportunity for architects, urban planners, policy-makers, students and anyone interested in the built environment to discover how architecture can positively shape the way we live, work and interact with our surroundings.
