There are musical stories that deserve to be celebrated in style. URBEX's is one of them. Since its formation in 2015 under the leadership of drummer and composer Antoine Pierre, this exceptional Belgian sextet has left its mark on the European jazz scene with a sound that is electric, organic and deeply original. Three albums, over 100 concerts, unanimous critical acclaim : URBEX has been one of the most memorable collective adventures of its generation. The high point of this journey remains Suspended, recorded live at Flagey's Studio 4 during the Brussels Jazz Festival in January 2020 — a packed house, energy at its peak, warm applause — a passionate tribute to Miles Davis's electric period and the unforgettable Bitches Brew, which was then celebrating its 50th anniversary. Barely two months after that concert, the world came to a standstill : lockdown was to deprive the band of the tour it deserved, and abruptly cut short the momentum of music that had never been so alive. In 2026, the Year of Miles — 35 years after the legendary trumpeter's passing — URBEX returns for two exceptional concerts in Strasbourg and Brussels.
