Siemen Van Gaubergen is a Belgian visual artist whose practice explores the porosity of language, representation, and technology through painting, text, video, and publishing. Marked by early dyslexia, he investigates shifts in meaning, misunderstandings, and the poetic or political potential of misaligned language, often with humour. A former resident of the Jan Van Eyck Academie, he develops a body of work in which words and images collide to reveal the tensions between language and reality.
