van den Bear ? This is a name to remember and to follow on our Brussels stages in the coming years. This young “dark pop alternative post rock” band was created in 2017.

van den Bear rehearses regularly in its Brussels studio and has also chosen Ixelles to shoot the video recordings of its best songs…

The small team is led by Antoine van den Berg (guitar, voice), who writes, arranges and produces the songs. A trained sound engineer, he works at the SAE Institute Brussels, an international audiovisual production school close to Place Flagey, a creative breeding ground in this sector.

For the van den Bear adventure, he is surrounded by Vincent Ricotta (guitar), Alejandro Feldman (bass) and Arthur Ross (drums). The band has already released two EPs (musical format of 4-5 tracks): Songs for a future vacation and Somewhere the trains are on time, both full of poetry.

Inspired in particular by The National, Radiohead or TV On the Radio, their songs take you on a journey, inviting you to get lost…

In March 2020, the band had to cancel several long-planned concerts. After this long delay, van den Bear are eager to get back on stage and to their audience.
